Saad Bourkadi’s family has owned a farm and olive grove in Morocco for four generations. When Saad came to New York 25 years ago he was inspired to share his family’s products with the people of New York. His wife encouraged him to open a stall at the market, where you can find him happily assisting customers old and new behind a vibrant display of spices from around the world. 

Strike up a conversation with Saad when you pick up your curry powder and Za’atar, and ask him for a taste of his Moroccan olive oils- you just might have to bring home a bottle or two.
