Our second session in partnership with New York University's Food Studies program is all about BORSCHT!
On Tuesday, October 15th at 7:00pm join Professor Jennifer Schiff Berg as we delve into the wonderful world of borscht. We'll discuss how Eastern and Central European immigrants -- predominately from Russia, the Ukraine and Poland -- adapted traditional Borscht recipes when they emigrated to New York City.
Together we'll taste traditional beet root-based versions along with other lesser known recipes. Learn how immigrants have long used their recipes and heritage foods to both preserve the past and embrace the future.
Space is limited, so please RSVP for your FREE ticket today!
