We are excited to partner with New York University's Food Studies program to host a monthly series of talks and tastings inside Essex Kitchen centered around immigrant food history and culture in the Lower East Side.
On Tuesday, September 17th at 7:00pm join Professor Jennifer Schiff Berg for a lively discussion all about pickles! We'll delve into the various immigrant groups that have passed through our neighborhood and laid claim to pickling. Discover how each group introduced their own cuisines and taste profiles.
