Essex Market is hosting its second annual fundraiser to fill the Community Fridge. Enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner featuring Essex Market vendors, and learn how to make delicious meals with Thanksgiving leftovers!
About the Fridge
Located on Essex Street between Broome and Delancey Street, the community fridge serves as an access point for all, where people can take or leave food as needed. Currently it is stocked irregularly by Essex Market vendors and patrons. The fundraiser will allow us to maintain a regular schedule of fridge restocks throughout the holiday season.
What’s for Dinner?
At the fundraiser, Chef Lily Chin will demonstrate how to use Thanksgiving leftovers to make a delicious Turkey Pot Pie.
Dinner will include a three-course meal featuring a plated appetizer, family-style main course and passed desserts. A choice of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic autumnal cocktail also available.
Extras
There will be a raffle to help raise additional funds, and we are also launching an exclusive Autumnal Essex Market Tote bag. This tote bag can be purchased at this fundraiser and is included in one of the ticket tiers.
